Fukushima Fireworks Festival

The fireworks display is usually held on the last Saturday in July. About 8，000 fireworks are launched， including shakudama (large-sized balls) and magnificent starmines. The ”Tezutsu Fireworks” from Toyohashi City， Aichi Prefecture， with which we have a ”Partner City Agreement”， and the ”Music Fireworks” sponsored by the Japan Racing Association (JRA) Fukushima Racecourse are also spectacular and will decorate the opening of Fukushima's summer festival.
