Mt. Shinobu

Mt. Nobu， the symbol of Fukushima City that seems to float in the middle of Fukushima City， consists of three mountains， Kumano， Haguro， and Hazan， where three shrines， Haguro， Gassan， and Yudono， are dedicated， and has been called ”Oyama” (Mt.) since ancient times as the mountain of faith.　It has been called ”Oyamama” (Mt. Because it is an isolated hill， Mt. Nobuo boasts a panoramic view of all its surroundings. There are seven observation points， including the first observation deck overlooking the old city， the second observation deck looking down on eastern Fukushima and the horse race track， and the third observation deck overlooking the northern part of Fukushima City.

A hiking course where you can experience nature and culture

There are several spots around Mt. Nobuo where you can experience history and culture while enjoying hiking， such as shrines and old houses. There is also an observation deck along the hiking course， so it is recommended to refresh yourself while enjoying the spectacular view.

About an 8-minute walk from the Mt. Nobu Guide Center parking lot， you will find ”Nobuyama Cat Inari (Nishizaka Inari)” on the grounds of the Nishizaka family of old houses. Here， you can post pictures of your cat on the board provided. Please bring your cat's photo (L size) if you wish to have it displayed!
