Yuji Koseki Memorial Museum

This is a memorial hall for Yuji Koseki， a composer from Fukushima City and the main character of the NHK TV series ”Yale” to be broadcast in 2020. He left many famous songs including ”Eikan wa Kimi ni Shine，” ”Mothra no Uta，” ”Olympic March，” and ”Nagasaki no Kane.

The Fukushima City Yuji Koseki Memorial Museum was opened in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the city's incorporation to honor the achievements of composer Yuji Koseki， who was born in Fukushima City and was the first honorary citizen of Fukushima City， to widely pass on his achievements and ”Koseki Melodies” to future generations， and to contribute to the promotion of music culture. In the exhibition corner， approximately 600 photo panels， autographs， sheet music of his compositions， and many other materials are on display.

In the salon space with a glass wall facing the street， concerts of piano， vocal music， and ensembles are held on a regular basis. Enjoy the beautiful music and melodies of Yuji Koseki.
